Yes, we accept insurance. We are currently in-network with Aetna, Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Medicare.  If you have another insurance, you will be required to pay the out-of-pocket fees at the time of service, but can request an invoice/superbill to submit a claim for reimbursement to your insurance company on your own.

No, most clients do not need a referral, though some insurance plans do require one for reimbursement. We are in-network with Aetna, Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Medicare. New clients can inquire about the enrollment process by contacting us.

Yes! We offer telehealth appointments, however these services are only available for those individuals located in Iowa.

Yes! Through our Heart at Home Program, we provide in home geropsychology services for clients who face barriers to accessing clinic based care. These services are reserved for individuals with identified needs that make in office visits difficult.

No. Our clinician cannot prescribe medications. What we can do is provide basic education about treatment options-including psychotropic medications (such as antidepressants, antianxiety medications, and antipsychotics), symptomatic treatments for Alzheimer’s disease (such as Aricept, Namenda, and Donepezil), and newer disease-modifying therapies (such as Lecanemab or Donanemab). When appropriate, we refer to prescribing experts. We collaborate closely with medical providers to ensure you receive the right supports, from the right people, at the right time. 

We understand that things come up. We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling to avoid a cancellation fee. Details are in your welcome packet.
